The club

MaNaMa is at number 14 on Calle de Barcelona, a few steps from the Puerta del Sol. It opened in 2001 and was redecorated in 2014 in an industrial style: a clean, symmetrical design, with red and black set against plenty of white.

It is a club for starting the night early and finishing it on the dance floor. It opens at 22:30 and has its own cocktail bar, with mojitos, caipirinhas and piña coladas, as well as shishas in lots of flavours. Because of where it is, every night brings together a large international crowd and locals heading into the centre.

Besides the dance floor, it has VIP tables, puts on themed parties and hires out the venue for private events. Its website has a 360-degree virtual tour, so you can see what it looks like inside before you go.

Which night to go

The club boasts that there is a party 365 days a year, and it opens every night, Monday to Sunday, midweek included. From Sunday to Thursday the night runs from 22:30 to 05:30, and on Fridays and Saturdays it goes on until 06:00. There is no fixed named session for each day: it is the same Latin and commercial party all week, with the occasional themed night.

The music

The club sums up its music as Latin rhythms and pop. On the dance floor that means commercial music with lots of reggaeton and international hits, aimed at a crowd from many different countries. It does not publish the names of resident DJs.

Dress code and door

The club does not publish a dress code. What does matter is age: you must be 18 or over and carry your DNI, NIE or passport. The minimum age and conditions for each party can be checked on its online ticket sales before buying.
