The club
B12 is at number 27 on calle de Joaquín Costa, in El Viso (Chamartín), next to the República Argentina roundabout and about 100 metres from paseo de la Castellana, close to Nuevos Ministerios. It calls itself The Bar Lab, a party laboratory known for shots served in test tubes and drinks in beach buckets for sharing. It has been throwing parties in Madrid for more than twelve years and is a regular choice for birthdays, graduations and university parties.
It has two floors and a capacity of 400. Downstairs there are two semi-separate areas, each with its own bar; upstairs are two more bars, the dance floor and a VIP area with sofas next to the DJ booth. The corridors are covered in graffiti, and the sound and lighting have been completely renewed: moving heads, black light, lasers and four large screens spread across both floors. The usual crowd is aged 20 to 35, with lots of university students.
Which night to go
It opens Thursday, Friday and Saturday, plus odd dates such as Sunday 1 November 2026. There are no resident parties with a fixed name: every night is commercial music and groups of friends, with advance tickets that include drinks. There are special nights, such as the Halloween party on Saturday 31 October 2026. Before opening to the public, the club is booked for birthdays and private parties.
The music
You will hear commercial music, reggaeton, house and techno, with 80s and 90s pop and classic rock in between. The DJs play music videos on the screens and take requests: if the song you ask for is commercial, they will put it on.
Getting there
República Argentina metro station, on line 6, is a 4-minute walk away. Nuevos Ministerios, with metro and Cercanías trains, is less than 500 metres away. By day, buses C1 and C2 pass about 300 metres away, and the 7, 16 and 19 stop at Doctor Arce, under 400 metres away. Late at night, night bus N1 stops at Doctor Arce and the N23 and N24 about 380 metres away. Taxis can be found right at the door at any hour.

Dress code and door
The club asks you to dress well, without being strict. Shorts are allowed; sportswear, military-style clothing and a scruffy look are not, and men cannot wear sleeveless tops. It also warns that it may turn away stretched earlobes, mohawks, very sharp fades or brightly dyed hair. You must be over 18, as must everyone in the same booking.

What time does B12 close?
At 06:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. On Thursdays it closes at 05:30.
Until what time can I get in with an advance ticket?
Until 01:00. If you arrive later, you lose one of the drinks it includes.
Can I give my ticket to someone else?
Yes. They just need to bring the purchase email with the QR code and the control code.
Can I celebrate a birthday there?
Yes, it is the most requested event. You can bring your own snacks and decorations, and the club sets aside an area for your group.
Is there valet parking?
No. At night there is usually space on the surrounding streets, which are mostly offices, and there are public car parks nearby.
I lost something inside. What should I do?
